Empowering young people and families living in poverty in Bwaise, Uganda

Who we Are

AFFCAD (Action for Fundamental Change and Development) UK is a volunteer-led charity set up to support young people and families living in extreme poverty in Uganda. We currently work with the community in Bwaise, one of the biggest and poorest slum areas in Kampala. 90,000 people live in Bwaise without access to services like clean water, shelter or sanitation. And 65% of these are aged between 16-25. We work closely with AFFCAD Uganda to provide quality, accessible education and training to the community in Bwaise.

Together, we can help young people grow up free from extreme poverty
